Nitrogen Generator Package Designed For Sodium Hypochlorite Plant in Nigeria

GENERON® IGS Awarded Contract for Project

Houston, Texas - July 22, 2009 – GENERON® IGS, an affiliate of Innovative Gas Systems, will deliver a Nitrogen Generator package to provide general inerting as well as high pressure Nitrogen for use in various areas of the plant. The system is designed to produce 100 Nm3/hr with a minimum Nitrogen purity of 99.9%. The Nitrogen Generator will incorporate IGS’ new Flat Flow® Modular Pressure Swing Absorption technology as well as a rotary screw feed compressor, Booster compressor, and a Cylinder Filling Station.

GENERON® IGS was selected as the supplier of this custom designed system due to being a recognized leader in the Petrochemical industry for packaged on-site Nitrogen Generators. The GENERON® IGS Pressure Swing Absorption Nitrogen Generator is a stand-alone system that can be skid mounted and uses the patented modular Flat Flow® technology to provide an uninterrupted supply of gaseous nitrogen with purities from 95 – 99.999%. The GENERON IGS custom designed Nitrogen systems create efficiencies by overcoming the inconvenience and expense of stored liquid, gas cylinders or the use of a Bulk supply tank. Nitrogen is generated on site, requiring only a supply of compressed air. The Nitrogen Generator has controls within the PLC that allows the purity and flow to be adjusted at the push of a button. GENERON® IGS Nitrogen generation units allow end users to gain control of their ever changing Nitrogen demands.
