Coal Mining Industry Benefits from Design Integrating Air Compressor and Nitrogen Generator

Houston, Texas May 13, 2009 - Generon IGS, an affiliate of Innovative Gas Systems, announces the introduction of its new integrated Nitrogen Generator designed for the Coal Mining Industry. This new design integrates the Air Compressor with the Nitrogen Generator. This unique design offers to our customers the following advantages:

50% reduction in space of a comparable system
No interconnecting piping, electrical and instrumentation connections
One Power Connection eliminating multiple field terminations
No electrical heaters required as compression heat is utilized in the integrated process.
The units are supplied as a complete package fully tested and certified to exact customer standards

The Integrated Nitrogen Generations from Generon IGS can be supplied as dual compressor units with full redundancy to the nitrogen supply. Additionally these units can be supplied as single compressor integrated packages. Both designs are available for use in the mine shaft or outside the mine shaft.
